Our mission

A gathering place built around our families.

Mapleton is growing — and our kids deserve a place to play, compete, and belong. The Mapleton Ice Arena will be a year-round civic hub for youth sports, family recreation, and community events. We're building it the right way: publicly funded by the community it serves, and designed to last for generations.

This isn't a private facility or a pay-to-play club. It's a community asset — owned by the people who helped build it.

Why this project matters

Four pillars. One community rink.

The arena is designed to serve four overlapping needs — each a real gap in our valley today.

Youth athletics, local

A home sheet of ice for youth hockey, figure skating, and travel teams — no more pre-dawn drives up I-15.

Learn-to-skate for everyone

Affordable introductory programs so every kid in Mapleton, regardless of background, can try skating.

A year-round gathering place

Open skate, birthday parties, school events, and date nights — a civic hub that runs twelve months a year.

Built for the long haul

A financially sustainable facility, run as a community asset, designed to serve Mapleton for generations.

Community impact

The demand is real — and it's local.

We spent a year listening before we started fundraising. Here's what we learned.
